B2b.store the new freemium b2b ordering app solution designed specifically for wholesalers and distributors has signed 30 customers in just 8 weeks. The customers come from an array of different wholesale sectors from food and drink, to electrical, through to plumbing.
The platform that launched in March, just prior to the Covid-19 lockdown, gives wholesalers and distributors of all shapes and sizes the ability to offer their customers 24/7 ordering through a fully branded app. The app works seamlessly across mobile, tablet and desktop delivering aperfect omnichannel experience – start an order on one device and finish it on another. The standard ordering app has zero setup or ongoing charges meaning wholesalers get can get online, protect their flow of orders all with zero risk.
There are also premium features which incur a monthly subscription but each wholesaler or distributor can tailor which, if any, of these they take depending on their individual requirements.
The real beauty of the offer is that the app can be up and running within 24 hours once a simple product file is supplied in the required format. For those wholesalers who need a deeper integration an API will be made available later this year.
Ozan Okyay Purchase Manager for Extra Cash & Carry one of the recent signings said: “The whole process was simple from start to finish. First of all, we received very detailed and simple instructions about the app and how it works. We only filled in an excel form as instructed with the product details we have, sent the pictures and our app was ready to use. It is amazing that only in a couple of days our own name App was ready to use. App structure is user-friendly and
fast enough to place orders. We can see all information like picture of the products, price, barcodes and pack size when placing orders. This App has everything for collecting orders from retail stores and also good for individual customers to place their own orders.”
Rob Mannion CEO for b2b.store said: “We can get businesses up and running as soon as we have a product file. This means we can offer our standard app at zero cost making it completely risk free. All a wholesaler or distributor needs to invest is the time to create the product list, and only if it doesn’t already exist. This is also something RNF can help with. We already had a lot of interest, but the Covid-19 crisis has expedited that demand. Online ordering has become increasingly important in these difficult times as customers are trying to avoid depot visits and telesales staff may well be self-isolating. Of the 30 new contracts 14 are live and a further 26 are going through the onboarding process.”
