b2b.store is offering premium features completely FREE for foodservice wholesalers for three months.
The move came in response to the Government’s announcement that England would move into a second lockdown and is aimed at increasing support for a sector that was disproportionately impacted by the first Covid-19 lockdown earlier this year.
Rob Mannion, founder and CEO of b2b.store, said: “Foodservice wholesalers were only just recovering from the impact of the first lockdown on their businesses so these new restrictions are a bitter blow at what is a key time of year for the sector.
“Moving to online ordering not only allows customers to make and amend their orders in real time, for delivery or Covid-safe collection, but also allows wholesalers to monitor changes in demand, redeploy their workforce as the situation requires – for example if telesales staff are ill or self-isolating – and even temporarily pivot from B2B to B2C services.
“The b2b.store platform was developed to help wholesalers of all sizes access one of the major growth channels in the sector and support them to provide a better service to their customers. This has never been more important than in the current environment, whether wholesalers are looking to trade through this latest lockdown period or use the downtime to get their businesses digital ready.
“By making our premium features free for the next three months, our aim is to give something back and make sure that those most impacted by the latest changes are not only helped to survive but also well placed to thrive in a post-Covid world.”
b2b.store’s premium features include basket builders that allow customers to create lists for quick re-ordering, in-app advertising, product placement, bar code scanning and automated order acceptance. For more details click here.Try for yourself Play Video
